Property Manager

Property Manager | Grand Rapids, MI

This is not a desk job.

We're looking for a property manager who actually manages property. Someone who walks the units, knows the residents by name, and doesn't let a work order sit.

Landmark is a family owned housing company in Grand Rapids. We own every unit we manage, a few hundred and growing, and we handle our own maintenance, turns, and renovations in house. No third party management. No absentee owners. You'll work directly with me.

We have units ready to rent right now, and we need someone who can fill them with good people.

What you'll actually do
Show units and fill them with good people
Be the go to person for our residents
Coordinate our crew and outside subs so work gets done right the first time
Keep residents, the team, and ownership in the loop before anyone has to ask
Stay on top of rent, notices, and the details nobody else wants to chase

Who thrives here
You're detail driven, but you're still kind. You can be firm with a resident who's behind and warm with one who just moved in, in the same afternoon. You answer your phone. You follow up without being reminded. When something goes sideways, you tell us early with a photo and a plan, not a story.

You care about people and you care about getting it right. Both. Not one or the other.

Pay
$50,000 to $60,000 salary. Full time. Benefits available after your introductory period.
