Harcourts Lifestyle is looking for motivated and ambitious individuals to join our residential sales team as Real Estate Sales Agents / Property Practitioners.

We are looking for people who are serious about building a long-term career in real estate and who are comfortable working in a performance-driven, commission-based environment.

Previous real estate experience is not required. We are more interested in your attitude, work ethic, professionalism, communication skills, and willingness to learn.

Your role

As a Property Practitioner, you will be responsible for developing and managing your own residential property sales pipeline. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prospecting for new sellers and property listings
• Building relationships with property owners and buyers
• Conducting property market analysis and listing presentations
• Securing mandates
• Marketing residential properties
• Responding to buyer enquiries
• Arranging and conducting property viewings
• Hosting show houses
• Qualifying prospective buyers
• Negotiating offers
• Assisting buyers and sellers throughout the sales process
• Maintaining accurate client and property records
• Following up consistently with leads and clients
• Working towards agreed sales and activity targets

Minimum requirements

Applicants must have:

• A valid driver's licence
• Reliable access to their own vehicle
• A smartphone
• Reliable internet access
• The ability to work full-time
• The ability to travel within their allocated sales area
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preference will be given to applicants who live in or close to Midrand or Johannesburg North.

Remuneration

This is a commission-based position and does not include a guaranteed fixed monthly salary.

Income is directly linked to individual sales performance and the business you build.

This role is suited to someone who is motivated by the opportunity to increase their earnings through their own performance and who understands that building a successful real estate career requires consistent prospecting, relationship-building and follow-up.
