POSITION OVERVIEW

A growing real estate advisory and property marketing business is looking for a Property Research & Acquisition Assistant to support its expanding property acquisition team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to research, identify, organize, and qualify potential property opportunities for the company's growing property network.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, internet-savvy, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in real estate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research properties available for sale, lease, or investment
• Search property portals, social media, developer websites, online listings, and other sources
• Identify potential property owners, brokers, developers, landlords, and property contacts
• Build and maintain a database of property opportunities
• Collect basic property information including:
• Property type
• Location
• Size
• Asking price
• Availability
• Owner/broker contact information
• Listing source
• Research and identify new property projects and developments
• Verify publicly available property information
• Identify duplicate, outdated, or incomplete listings
• Assist Property Acquisition Specialists with prospect research
• Conduct initial outreach through calls, email, and messaging when required
• Record responses and update lead status
• Follow up on assigned research leads
• Organize property photos, brochures, links, and other available information
• Maintain accurate spreadsheets and databases
• Prepare daily and weekly research reports
• Submit qualified opportunities to the Property Acquisition Team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong internet research skills
• Good computer and spreadsheet skills
• Organized and highly detail-oriented
• Good written and verbal communication
• Able to work with large amounts of information
• Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email, and messaging platforms
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proactive and willing to learn
• Real estate experience is an advantage but not required
