Property Security Supervisor

About the role

The Property & Security Supervisor is responsible for the ongoing renovation and upkeep of the Principal's private residence. The role acts as the Principal's representative on the renovation project, manages the day-to-day maintenance of the property, and oversees the residence's security team and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Principal's on-site representative for the ongoing renovation of the residence.
• Coordinate architects, designers, main contractors and specialist vendors; track progress against schedule and budget.
• Review quotations, variation orders and progress claims; flag cost or timeline risks early.
• Ensure contractors comply with safety requirements, working hours, site access rules and confidentiality of the household.
• Manage defects inspection, testing and commissioning, and handover of completed works.
• Keep the Principal or family office informed through regular, concise progress updates.
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of the residence, including M&E systems, landscaping and pools.
• Appoint and manage service vendors and term contracts; verify work quality and invoices.
• Maintain property records, warranties, asset and equipment inventories, and maintenance logs.
• Supervise the security team and ensure CCTV, alarm and access-control systems are functioning and maintained.

About you

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in property, facilities or estate management; a security background with strong property or renovation exposure will also be considered.
• Hands-on experience managing renovation, fit-out or building works, including contractor coordination and cost control.
• Experience in private households, luxury residences, hospitality, embassies or high-end property preferred.
• Familiarity with building M&E systems; working knowledge of CCTV, alarm and access-control systems is an advantage.
• Strong organisation, vendor management and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion and reliability.
• Relevant property, facilities or workplace safety certifications are an advantage.
