Role Overview

We're seeking a Soft Services Associate Manager to lead and oversee the daily delivery of soft facilities management services across retail properties.

You will manage soft service contractors (housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, hygiene, waste management) to drive operational efficiency, adhere to international cleanliness standards, maintain safety compliance, and uphold high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise third-party service providers for housekeeping, pest control, waste management, hygiene, and landscaping. Track KPIs, conduct monthly performance reviews, and ensure service delivery maintains mystery shopper ratings above 98%.
• Quality & Operational Excellence: Conduct daily inspections across mall areas (washrooms, landscapes, parking, back-of-house, loading bays) to ensure high standards of presentation and maintenance. Implement BICS standards and manage facilities helpdesk resolutions.
• Safety & Sustainability: Perform HSE audits, conduct site-specific safety inductions, approve work permits, and manage sustainability data for utility and waste management.
• Financial & Cost Control: Develop cost-saving initiatives, track consumables/inventory, prepare scopes of work, and perform technical reviews of vendor proposals within fixed budgets.
• Incident & Stakeholder Management: Act as a first responder for operational incidents, handle site emergency procedures, and maintain proactive communication with Corporate FM, mall management, merchants, and visitors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management or equivalent field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Mall Operations or Property Management focused on soft services, with hands-on experience managing in-house teams and subcontractors.
• Certifications & Skills: BICS certification is preferred (not required). Knowledge of local operations, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Core Competencies: Strong project management, leadership, critical thinking, and budget/cost control skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
