HOW IS WORKING IN THE PROPERTY TEAM SPECIAL?

We are driven by a single focus – to serve our shoppers a little better. We work with our Retail colleagues as well as with other stakeholders to achieve customer satisfaction. From potential building sites to maintaining shops – it’s our responsibility to look at every aspect to ensure store functionality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO?

• Managing new construction projects in cooperation with the Acquisitions Department
• Preparing cost estimates for projects
• Managing the tender process for the selection of a general contractor
• Assessing project risks
• Cooperating with external partners, attending meetings, and reviewing project documentation
• Preparing materials for project approvals and providing regular reporting
• Evaluating return on investment (ROI)
• Monitoring project budgets and expenditure
• Cooperating with internal departments across the organization
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities for new projects
• Coordinating external contractors, quantity surveyors and overseeing project execution

WHAT YOU WILL NEED?

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Construction/Cost Management, or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in project preparation and management
• Very good command of English
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
• Flexibility, willingness to travel, and a Category B driving licence
• Ability to work under pressure, resilience, and a proactive approach
