Proposal Coordinator - INTERN Opportunity - Business Development

Maytag Aircraft is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to support the company’s growth initiatives across the Department of Defense and Federal Government markets. This entry level position provides administrative and operational support to business development, capture, and proposal activities while maintaining opportunity data and supporting customer engagement efforts.

The ideal candidate possesses prior experience supporting government contractors and understands the federal acquisition environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and track business opportunities within CRM and pipeline systems.

• Monitor SAM.gov, GovWin, and other procurement sources for upcoming opportunities.

• Coordinate customer meetings, industry events, and internal business development activities.

• Support proposal and capture teams with document preparation and compliance tracking.

• Assist in maintaining capability statements, presentations, and marketing materials.

• Maintain past performance databases and contract reference information.

· · Manage proposal libraries and corporate templates.

·· Coordinate internal action items and meeting schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting business development or operations within a government or defense contracting environment.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government customers.

• Familiarity with FAR-based procurements preferred.

• Experience with SAM.gov, GovWin, CRM systems, or similar business development tools preferred.
