Proposal Development Consultant (IT Domain)

The Role:

You will be a part of cross functional Technology Strategy team and will be collaborating closely with senior leadership, project leaders, Sales enablement team. The role involves working on both internal capability development and client-facing technology strategy and transformation projects.

Experience:

2–5 years of relevant experience ( for undergraduates ) or 1–3 years (for postgraduates ) in a Technology/Management consulting domain.

Key Responsibility:

• Lead and contribute significantly to proposal development — from initial scoping and value proposition design through drafting, refinement, final submission, and follow-up. This is a core responsibility of the role.
• Translate organizational capabilities and intellectual assets into crisp, client-specific commercial narratives that clearly articulate differentiated value.
• Craft high-impact executive briefing materials, dashboards, and presentation decks that position the team’s expertise ahead of key client conversations.
• Design and maintain a suite of client development materials , including credentials decks, capability overviews, and sector-specific one-pagers for use in pitches, RFPs, and senior-level meetings.
• Work under the guidance of a Project Leader / Team Manager while playing a key role in driving the team’s overall recommendations, final materials, work planning, and quality assurance.
• Provide thought leadership on priority enterprise technology topics such as Enterprise AI Strategy, Data Architecture, Technology Transformation, Cloud Platforms, and Application Modernization.
• Conduct rigorous primary and secondary research (expert interviews, surveys, industry reports, analyst publications) to generate proprietary insights.
• Ensure timely, high-quality, zero-defect delivery of all outputs with strong attention to analytical rigor and practical, actionable recommendations.
• Deliver clear and professional presentations to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Consistently seek and provide meaningful feedback while continuously developing your own skills.

Required Skills:

• Preference for people who already have a consulting mindset and some client-facing exposure.
• Strong domain knowledge (or ability to quickly build it) in enterprise technology areas: AI strategy, cloud, data architecture, application modernization, digital products.
• Excellent research, synthesis, and storytelling skills — especially turning technical content into C-suite-ready narratives .
• Solid tools skills : Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, plus advanced numerical/modeling ability.
• Soft skills: Strong communication, ability to multi-task under pressure, give/receive feedback, and work collaboratively.
