Proposal Engineer | Energy & Industrial Projects

Brunel is currently looking for a Proposal Engineer to support the preparation of technical and commercial offers for complex engineering and infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining technical understanding, customer interaction, cost calculations and proposal preparation. We welcome candidates from electrical, mechanical, industrial or energy-related backgrounds.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing technical and commercial proposals for customer projects
• Supporting bid and tender activities from inquiry to final offer
• Coordinating with engineering, sourcing, project and sales teams
• Developing scope definitions, project concepts and technical solutions
• Preparing cost estimates and pricing calculations
• Reviewing customer requirements and technical specifications
• Communicating with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Supporting negotiations and offer clarification activities

What we're looking for

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or similar)
• Experience in proposal engineering, application engineering, tendering, estimating, costing or similar activities
• Ability to understand technical documentation and customer specifications
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good analytical mindset and commercial awareness
• English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience within energy, power transmission, high-voltage, grid, industrial equipment or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of EPC, engineering or manufacturing environments
• Exposure to cost estimation, pricing or bid management

Important additional information:

Location: Katowice, Poland

Hybrid (1–2 days per week working from home)

Fluent Polish, fluent English (German is an advantage)

Project duration: 6 months to 1 year, with the possibility of extension

Immediate start possible
