Proposal Operations Manager (US Central Region)

For our client, we are seeking a Proposal Operations Manager (US Central Region) to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will lead proposal operations for strategic pursuits, ensuring compliant, compelling, and well-coordinated deliverables that support competitive success. You will partner closely with internal leaders and stakeholders to shape pursuit strategy, strengthen execution, and improve win rates. The position also calls for a people-first approach that develops talent, reinforces process discipline, and supports continuous improvement across the proposal function.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $112,200 – $196,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a proposal team to create compliant and compelling deliverables
• Set clear expectations and provide resources for team success
• Foster a people-first culture focused on communication and innovation
• Mentor staff for professional development and career growth
• Develop partnerships with internal leaders and stakeholders to enhance competitive strategies
• Guide strategic pursuits from planning stages through final deliverables
• Champion best practices to improve win rates and refine processes

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills
• In-depth understanding of the AEC industry and experience with high-visibility pursuits
• Organizational, planning, and time-management abilities to juggle multiple tasks
• Ability to build trusted relationships with various stakeholders
• Around 10 years of proposal management experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership role
