Proposal Staffing Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Proposal Staffing Lead to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will guide proposal staffing strategy and analytics for federal pursuits, ensuring proposed teams are aligned to technical solutions and government labor category requirements.

The position will partner closely with proposal, technical, and leadership stakeholders to build defensible staffing plans and Basis of Estimates that support compliant, competitive submissions.

Success in this role will also include briefing leadership on staffing progress and risk, while helping drive readiness for formal reviews and customer Q&A sessions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $129,300 – $230,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead development of proposal staffing plans and supporting analytics for federal proposals
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure consistency and support for technical solutions
• Align proposed positions with Government labor category requirements
• Brief leadership on staffing progress and risk mitigation
• Collaborate on BOE development and compliance with relevant labor standards
• Draft questions and answers about labor requirements for proposal leadership
• Support formal reviews and Government Q&A sessions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years in Federal Government contracting, proposal development, or related fields; or 15+ years of relevant experience without a degree
• Experience in creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and matching labor rates with proposal costs
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and foundational skills in Excel VBA programming
• Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
