Proposal Writer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Upwork Bidder to join our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable projects, creating tailored proposals, engaging with prospective clients, and contributing to the company’s business development efforts through Upwork and other freelancing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify relevant projects and potential clients on Upwork.
• Review project requirements and determine suitable opportunities for bidding.
• Create and submit personalized proposals and cover letters that address client requirements.
• Research clients and projects to improve proposal quality and increase the chances of receiving responses.
• Monitor submitted proposals and follow up with potential clients.
• Assist with initial client communication and coordinate inquiries with the relevant team members.
• Work with the Sales and Technical teams to understand project requirements and prepare appropriate proposals.
• Maintain organized records of bids, proposals, client responses, follow-ups, and outcomes.
• Assist in improving and optimizing the company’s Upwork profile and bidding approach.
• Track bidding activities and proposal performance and suggest improvements where needed.
• Stay updated on freelancing platforms, bidding trends, and effective proposal practices.
• Support the Business Development team in meeting lead generation and sales goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Upwork or similar freelancing platforms.
• Good proposal writing, research, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand project requirements and communicate them clearly.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and willing to take initiative.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in Upwork bidding, proposal writing, lead generation, or business development is an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: Rs25,000.00 - Rs35,000.00 per month
