PROTEGE (AUDITOR)

Project: PROPOSED EXPANSION OF SAPANGAR BAY CONTAINER PORT ON 01200707, 01200809, 015601117 & 015493795 AT JALAN SAPANGAR KOTA KINABALU SABAH

Working Location: AEROPOD, KOTA KINBALU, SABAH.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the audit team to prepare for audit assignments, including reviewing relevant documents and assessing preliminary risks.
• To participate in on-site or remote audits to collect data, review financial statements, and test control under supervision.
• Verify and evaluate the accuracy and completeness of financial date and supporting documents.
• Help assess compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and government regulations.
• Document any discrepancies, weaknesses in controls, or potential non- compliance issues.
• Use financial data analysis to support audit findings.
• Assist in drafting audit reports by providing relevant observations  and date insights.
• Prepare and organize audit files, documents, and work papers.
• Help with the coordination of audit meetings, including scheduling and note-taking.
• Actively seek feedback, engage in training sessions, and take part in on-the-job learning opportunities to build auditing skills and industry knowledge.

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Account or equivalent.

• Required skills: Word, Microsoft Office, and related programs.
