PROTEGE (ENGINEER)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist the Engineering and Project team in carrying out day-to-day engineering and project-related activities.
2. Support project planning, coordination and monitoring to ensure work is carried out according to project requirements and schedules.
3. Assist in preparing technical documents, reports, drawings, specifications and other project documentation.
4. Assist engineers and project personnel in site inspections, measurements and verification of completed works.
5. Monitor project progress and assist in identifying issues, delays or technical concerns.
6. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal departments when required.
7. Assist in reviewing drawings, technical specifications, material requirements and method statements.
8. Support the preparation of material submissions, work schedules, progress reports and other project documentation.
9. Ensure engineering activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, project requirements, quality standards and applicable safety regulations.
10. Attend site meetings, project discussions and technical meetings when required.
11. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical or site-related issues under the supervision of senior engineers.
12. Maintain proper records of project documents, site activities, inspection reports and correspondence.
13. Perform any other engineering or project-related duties assigned by the superior from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and technical concepts.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering software will be an added advantage.
