PROTEGE QUANTITY SURVEYOR

PROTÉGÉ–Ready to Work (RTW)

Introduction

PROTÉGÉ-RTW implements initiatives to increase marketability potential and entrepreneurial skills among unemployed graduates and is open to various fields of study.

The total implementation period of PROTÉGÉ-RTW is eight (8) months which consists of two (2) training components, namely:

1. Soft-skills Training

2. On-the-Job Training

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Positive attitude, passionate about collaborative teamwork, and excel at interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in monitoring costs to ensure that the budget isn't exceeded and that cost savings are achieved.
• Responsible for sub-contractors and suppliers pricing and negotiation.
• Assist in the preparation of valuations of progress claims and sub-contractors' claims
• Assist in supporting the authorization and submission of project variations
• Assist in preparation of project progress reports & analysis of the progress to ease the process of achieving milestones with correct instructions.
• Attending client and consultants meeting with regard to work progress and site problems.
