Many academics are excellent at exactly this kind of explanatory writing.

- Author eBooks and long-form technical guides that serve as reference material for engineers learning a new protocol or standard
- Contribute industry news/analysis commentary on emerging standards, spec revisions, and technology trends bringing an informed, credible voice
- Partner with Prodigy's engineering and product teams to review technical accuracy and translate internal engineering knowledge into publishable content
- Mentor or review the work of other content writers on the team, ensuring technical rigor across all published material
- Set your own pace within agreed milestones
What You Need
- Current or emeritus/retired faculty position in Electronics, Electrical Engineering
- Strong grounding in digital systems, communication protocols, or embedded design (specific protocol expertise is a bonus, not a requirement we can help fill in product-specific detail)
- A track record of writing clearly for technical audiences lecture notes, textbooks, research papers, or technical articles all count
- Genuine curiosity about industry applications of academic concepts, and willingness to learn Prodigy's product portfolio in depth
- Comfort working independently and asynchronously with other internal teams
Nice to Have

- Published textbook chapters, technical articles, or course content
- Familiarity with semiconductor test and measurement, protocol analysis, or related validation tools
- Interest in occasional webinar or video content (explaining concepts on camera)
Why This Role Fits
- Intellectually engaging work bridging real classroom-tested teaching skill with live industry problems
- Deliverables-based role
- A chance to stay connected to a fast-evolving industry
