Proton Service Manager

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Service Manager to lead our Service Department and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Service Department and workshop operations.
• Oversee daily service activities, job allocation, workflow and technician productivity.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired according to Proton standards and company procedures.
• Monitor service quality, turnaround time and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service-related issues professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure accurate completion of job orders, service records, claims and other documentation.
• Monitor workshop performance, service targets and overall department KPIs.
• Work closely with the Parts, Sales and Administration teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and customer experience.
• Conduct regular team briefings, training and performance monitoring for service staff.
• Prepare regular reports on department performance, customer satisfaction and operational improvements.
• Ensure the workshop maintains a clean, safe and professional working environment.

Requirements:

• Experience in automotive after-sales/service operations is preferred.
• Previous experience in a Service Manager, Service Advisor or workshop supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of vehicle servicing and workshop operations.
• Customer-oriented and able to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Able to work independently and manage a team effectively.
• Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
