What they need
- Assist in prototype build activities for mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic automotive components.
- Prepare, assemble, and modify parts based on engineering drawings, schematics, and build instructions.
- Support bench testing, functional checks, and preliminary validation of prototype units.
- Document build issues, deviations, and observations for engineering review.
- Coordinate with design engineers to implement design changes or rework during prototype iterations.
- Maintain prototype lab equipment, tools, and inventory.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and build timelines.
- Assist in preparing test samples, fixtures, and instrumentation setups.
- Support rootcause analysis during prototype failures or anomalies.
- Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering. 1 year of experience in prototype development (freshers with strong practical skills are welcome).
