What they need
Required skills and qualifications
- Education: Graduate or postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Law, or Business (MBA, Pursuing CA, CS, are an advantage)
- Proxy / governance experience: 2+ years in proxy voting or stewardship operations
- Governance knowledge: Board structure and independence, executive compensation, shareholder rights, audit and capital-structure matters
- Financial statement reading: Comfortable reading annual reports, proxy statements, and filings with Regulators / stock exchanges
- Written communication: Clear, concise English for vote rationales and escalation notes
- Attention to detail and deadline discipline: Handles high meeting volumes against hard cut-off dates
- Experience with US and global markets (UK, Europe, Japan) and their governance codes (Nice to have)
