Proxy Engineer (Netskope)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and administer PROXY solutions in a 24/7 NOC environment
• Handle incident, problem, service request, and change management for PROXY setup
• Assist with day-to-day BAU and MACD configuration changes
• Proactively monitor network infrastructure using monitoring tools to isolate events before service degradation
• Support incident monitoring and incident analysis/response initiatives
• Coordinate with users to resolve trouble tickets and troubleshoot OSI Model layers 1, 2, and 3
• Apply security patches as required
• Conduct daily performance checks, periodic audits, and compliance verification
• Perform immediate troubleshooting for network outages as reported by users and operational personnel
• Deploy and maintain access and security policies for PROXY solutions
• Coordinate with OEMs for TAC support, RMA, replacement, and reconfiguration
• Maintain device configuration backups as per agreed schedule

Ideal Candidate

• Strong Proxy / Network Security Profile with hands-on Proxy solution management
• Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 2+ years of overall network security experience, with at least 2 years managing Proxy solutions, including hands-on experience with Netskope.
• Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have experience in incident, problem, service-request, change, configuration, and capacity management of a Proxy setup, assisting with day-to-day BAU MACDs and configuration changes, and maintaining SLAs for incidents in the queue.
• Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have experience using network monitoring tools to isolate events before service degradation, supporting incident monitoring/response, resolving trouble tickets with users, and performing immediate troubleshooting for outages
• Mandatory (Tech skill 1): Must have proficiency in Proxy management across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments, with knowledge and understanding of policies and exceptions.
• Mandatory (Tech skill 2): Must have experience with packet capture, analysis, and troubleshooting tools across OSI Layers 1–3 (network, transport, session, presentation, application).
• Mandatory (Skill): Must have experience applying security patches, deploying/maintaining Proxy access and security policies, daily performance checks, audits/compliance, OEM coordination (TAC, RMA, reconfiguration), and scheduled config backups.
• Mandatory (Domain): Banking-industry experience preferred; strong candidates with the same technical experience from another industry are acceptable.
• Mandatory (Note): Must be comfortable with a 24/7 NOC rotational shift environment at the client site (IDFC Bank, Airoli, Navi Mumbai), able to work in a fast-paced
• Mandatory (Communication): Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with flexibility to learn and adapt.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
