The Vedritam Group (formerly DAV Group) - Chennai was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram, Chennai, with just 50 students. Today, the Group caters to over 40,000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and has a staff strength of over 2,000, including 1,700 teachers. Four of our branches have been consistently ranked among the top 15 schools in the country.

In this context, we are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated PRT - English for Vedritam Vidyalaya Dholera, Gujarat (CBSE Board). The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, effective teaching abilities, and a passion for nurturing students' learning and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
• Improve students' spoken English, pronunciation, and communication abilities.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching-learning materials.
• Use interactive, activity-based, and child-centred teaching methods.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
• Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programmes.

Experience & Skills

• Relevant primary teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience in a CBSE-affiliated school will be an added advantage.
• Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.
• Good lesson-planning, assessment, and student engagement abilities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.

Educational qualification

• Bachelor's degree in English or a relevant discipline.
• B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification, as applicable.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Salary shall commensurate with experience
