The Vedritam Group (formerly DAV Group) - Chennai was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram, Chennai, with just 50 students. In this context, we are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated PRT – Hindi for Vedritam Vidyalaya Dholera, Gujarat (CBSE Board). The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, effective teaching abilities, and a passion for nurturing students' learning and overall development.

Job Summary

The Primary Teacher – Hindi will be responsible for teaching Hindi language and grammar, developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills, and encouraging an appreciation of Hindi literature through age-appropriate learning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Hindi lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
• Improve pronunciation, spoken fluency, and written expression.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching-learning materials.
• Use stories, poems, role-play, and interactive activities to support language learning.
• Assess student progress and maintain academic records.
• Provide individual support to students who require additional assistance.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
• Communicate with parents regarding students' academic progress.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programmes.

Experience & Skills

• Relevant primary teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience in a CBSE-affiliated school will be an added advantage.
• Good English communication skills for professional coordination.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to use creative and child-centred teaching methodologies.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.

Educational qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Hindi or a relevant discipline with Hindi as a subject, as applicable.
• B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification, as applicable.
• Strong command of spoken and written Hindi.

Salary shall commensurate with experience
