Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
• Support patients with medication administration following prescribed instructions and safety protocols
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic living space
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being
• Help with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety for both client and caregiver
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism
• Experience caring for seniors, individuals with dementia or disabilities, or those receiving hospice care is advantageous
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards in healthcare settings
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility safely
• Familiarity with cleaning routines necessary for maintaining a sanitary environment in healthcare settings
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and families
