Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Psych APRN) to join our multidisciplinary mental health team. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including patient history and mental status exams.
• Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and DEA regulations.
• Utilize our user-friendly EMR system, Therapy Notes, for accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to advance mental health care practices.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as an APRN with certification in psychiatry or mental health nursing.
• Proven experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and medical documentation standards.
• Demonstrated ability to perform medication administration and patient assessments accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
