Duties

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing psychopharmacology, psychotherapy (including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy), and other evidence-based interventions
• Provide crisis management and immediate psychiatric care for patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for patients with complex needs such as developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, or behavioral health conditions
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and follow-up consultations to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
• Stay current with health regulation policies and DEA regulations related to controlled substances while managing medication prescriptions responsibly
• Participate in intake assessments, psychiatric patient care planning, and ongoing clinical supervision to ensure quality standards are met

Experience

• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations in outpatient or inpatient settings
• Demonstrated expertise in hospital environments with familiarity in inpatient psychiatry procedures and protocols
• Strong background in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and other evidence-based practices
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex mental health conditions such as PTSD or addiction disorders
• Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis processes, medical terminology, and clinical psychiatry best practices
• Prior telehealth experience is preferred to support remote patient care delivery effectively
• Familiarity with health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and DEA regulations for controlled substances management
• Post-residency experience in clinical psychiatry or related fields is highly desirable to ensure readiness for independent practice
• Ability to perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, psychiatric assessments, and medical documentation accurately while collecting relevant data for treatment planning

Pay: $61.20 - $73.70 per hour

• Doctorate (Preferred)
