Join Our Team of Student Support Services Psychologists
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to thrive? Student Support Services (SSS) is seeking motivated and compassionate psychologists to join our multidisciplinary teams across South Australia. Opportunities are available at AHP2 and AHP3 levels, with roles across our local offices and flexible service teams, offering varied opportunities in assessment, consultation, and developing evidence-informed recommendations to support student wellbeing and learning.
Why work with us
Every child and young person deserves the opportunity to thrive.
At the Department for Education, we're committed to building a world-leading public education system that is equitable, inclusive, and focused on learning and wellbeing. Together with learners, families, schools, preschools, and communities, we're creating better futures by supporting every child to reach their potential.
As a psychologist with Student Support Services, you'll play a meaningful role in improving educational outcomes and wellbeing for children and young people across South Australia.
About Student Support Services
Student Support Services partners with schools and preschools to support children and young people with additional learning, developmental, social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.
Our multidisciplinary teams bring together psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, special educators, and other allied health professionals to provide integrated, evidence-informed support. Psychologists contribute through comprehensive assessment, consultation, and recommendations that help educators and families respond effectively to increasingly complex learner needs.
We are committed to culturally responsive practice, inclusive education, and working alongside diverse communities, particularly in regional, remote, and Aboriginal contexts.
