Position Overview

Edmonton Wellness Clinic is seeking a compassionate, client-focused Registered Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary wellness team as an independent contractor. Our clinic integrates psychological care with physiotherapy, lifestyle medicine, acupuncture, massage therapy, and other wellness services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments, counselling, and evidence-based therapy.
• Support clients with stress, anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation, and chronic pain.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, with appropriate client consent.
• Incorporate relevant lifestyle factors to support mental and emotional well-being.
• Participate in wellness workshops and educational programs, as mutually agreed.
• Maintain clinical documentation and comply with professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Current registration and authorization to practise as a psychologist in Alberta.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Client-centred, ethical, and evidence-informed approach.
• Interest in multidisciplinary healthcare and lifestyle medicine is an asset.

Contractor Arrangement

• Independent contractor responsible for their own clinical practice and professional obligations.
• Compensation structure and service fees to be mutually agreed upon.
• Schedule and availability to be mutually agreed upon.
• Professional liability insurance and applicable regulatory compliance required.
• Opportunities for internal referrals, interdisciplinary collaboration, and participation in clinic wellness programs.
