Licensed Clinical Psychologist – Child Assessment and Therapy - Southwest Georgia | Within Commuting Distance of Moultrie | Permanent

HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for a permanent outpatient position in Southwest Georgia, within commuting distance of Moultrie, Georgia.

This is an assessment-focused clinical opportunity, not a therapy-only position. The psychologist will devote a substantial portion of the caseload to psychological evaluations, standardized testing, interpretation, and written reports while also providing individual and group therapy to children.

The broader location serves children and adults, and the organization would welcome a generalist interested in working across the lifespan. It will also consider a psychologist who wants to maintain an exclusively pediatric caseload.

Scope of Practice

The psychologist will:

• Complete psychological and developmental evaluations
• Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessments
• Analyze testing results and clinical information
• Prepare accurate, clinically useful written reports
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy
• Establish treatment goals and individualized care plans
• Monitor outcomes and modify interventions when appropriate
• Explain findings and recommendations to patients and families
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and other clinicians
• Maintain complete and timely clinical records
• Complete same-day billing documentation

The weekly schedule will incorporate testing, report preparation, and therapy. The exact distribution of those responsibilities will depend on patient demand and the psychologist’s clinical focus. Occasional evening or weekend work is included but is expected to be rare.

Candidate Profile

Qualified candidates should possess:

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited university
• Current psychologist licensure or active pursuit of Georgia licensure
• Two to four years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination
• Demonstrated experience with psychological testing, interpretation, and report preparation
• Strong therapeutic, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
• Competence with electronic documentation and standard computer systems

Compensation

The reported base salary range is $135,000–$160,000 annually. The compensation package also includes a sign-on bonus. Loan-repayment support may be available, subject to eligibility and approval; no award or amount is guaranteed.
