Qualifications

• Full work rights in Australia
• Preferred registered psychologist
• Minimum CORE level positive behaviour support practitioner
• Preferred proficient level PBSP
• Working with Children Check
• Victorian Police Check
• Australian driver's license and car
• Experience in your field
• Evidence of completed NDIS orientation modules

Position description:

• Provide therapeutic sessions to referred clients using evidence-based interventions

• Develop tailored treatment plans for referred clients using prior knowledge and research skills

• Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) across home, school, and community environments.

• Undertake formulations for motivators of behaviours of concern.

• Liaise with external stakeholders.

• Develop and implement Comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines.

• Work collaboratively with clients, families, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Collect and analyse behavioural data.

• Provide staff training.

• Develop training resources.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and evidence-based practice.

• If you hold clinical endorsement, you will also be responsible for:

  Managing a caseload weighted toward the more complex presentations

  Providing clinical supervision to provisional psychologists and less experienced clinicians

  Contributing to complex case reviews across the multidisciplinary team

  Participating in MDT training and workshops

  Supporting the development of assessment and treatment pathways
