Little Dove Consulting PLLC

Little Dove Psychology is a child and adolescent practice in Austin. We evaluate kids, teens, and young adults for ADHD, autism, and learning differences, and families typically start with us in about a week rather than waiting six months. Our evaluation line is growing faster than our evaluators can administer tests, which is where you come in.
HOW THE SCHEDULE WORKS
This is a hybrid role with one in-person day and the rest virtual.
One day a week in Austin, in person. This is where we see the families who need face-to-face administration. You do not need to live in Austin, but you do need to be able to get here reliably for that one day.
Every other testing hour is virtual. All of your remaining administration is done remotely through Pearson Q-interactive from your own space, on your own schedule within the family's availability. Scoring is virtual as well.
WHAT YOU WOULD DO
You would administer and score cognitive, achievement, and neurodevelopmental measures under the supervision of our licensed psychologists. The evaluating psychologist handles the clinical interview, battery selection, interpretation, report, and feedback session. You handle administration and scoring, which is about half the hours on a typical case.
We would train you on our standard batteries and our documentation expectations.
A typical case is four to six hours of your time. We are looking for someone who can take two to four cases a week as volume builds.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required:
Master's degree in psychology, school psychology, educational psychology, counseling, or a closely related field
Experience administering and scoring standardized measures (WISC-V, WIAT-4, D-KEFS, BASC-3, and similar), whether from graduate training, a research setting, a school district, or a clinic
Able to travel to Austin one day a week for in-person testing
Reliable high-speed internet, a private space for virtual testing, and comfort with iPad-based administration
Careful, unhurried scoring. In this work, an arithmetic error in a protocol becomes a diagnostic error in a report
Helpful but not required:
Pediatric experience, particularly with autism measures (ADI-R, CARS-2, BOSA) or neurodevelopmental batteries
Prior Q-interactive or Q-global experience
Spanish fluency
Experience supporting telehealth assessment
LOGISTICS
Independent contractor (1099), paid per completed case
$35 to $45 an hour equivalent, depending on experience and setting
Part-time, roughly 10 to 20 hours a week as the evaluation line grows
One in-person day a week in Austin, all remaining testing hours virtual
Flexible scheduling
No licensure is required for this role. If you are a school psychologist looking for part-time clinical work, a master's-level clinician who trained in assessment and stepped away from it, or a doctoral student with strong administration hours, we would like to hear from you.
TO APPLY
Send a resume and a short note about your assessment training: which measures you have administered, how many, and in what setting. If you have administered remotely, tell us about that too.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Austin, TX 78746
