Psychometrist/Testing Technician

About the Role
NYC Psychiatric Associates is seeking a contract Neuropsychology Psychometrist/Testing Technician to join our expanding Department of Neuropsychology. This fully remote position involves assisting with psychological and neuropsychological testing for adult patients with a variety of mental health and cognitive concerns.

What You’ll Do

• Administer and score standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments via secure telehealth/remote testing platforms.
• Ensure accurate data collection, organization, and electronic documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Communicate professionally with patients, clinicians, and administrative staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and HIPAA-compliant testing procedures.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable following structured testing protocols.
• Tech-savvy and confident using Zoom, remote testing software, and Microsoft or Google Workspace tools.
• Reliable, professional, and able to manage your time independently in a virtual work environment.
• Prior experience with psychological testing, data scoring, or psychometry is preferred but not required. Training and supervision are provided.
