PT Barn Worker (Equestrian)

Responsibilities surrounding the daily care of horses and upkeep of the Equestrian facility. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Feeding and watering horses
• Cleaning stalls
• Turning out and bringing in horses
• Blanketing horses (winter months)
• Facility maintenance and repair
• Daily cleaning of the facility
• As needed extra cleaning and maintenance of the facility including power washing, painting, fence repair, grounds maintenance, etc.

The positions is primarily early morning hours (estimated 6 a.m.-10 a.m.) with some shorter evening shifts available. We work out a rotational schedule, but evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Applicants MUST have experience working in an ag-type setting using different equipment and are comfortable being around animals. Horse experience heavily preferred, but general livestock experience a plus. Must be trainable and able to lift 50+ lbs.

Applicants must be 18 years or older, legal to work in the US, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work in a team setting. Failure to be timely, work with others, communicate with your supervisor, and/or dress and conduct yourself in a professional manner may result in immediate dismissal.
