PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive GI care under physician supervision, focusing on patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education.

• Perform evaluations, interpret diagnostic results, and manage conditions like GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver diseases.

• Develop individualized care plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle changes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and maintain accurate documentation.

• Adhere to clinical, ethical, and legal standards per Texas regulations.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, a valid Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology or internal medicine.
