PT Sales & Admin – Creative Retail (Closing Shift)

The Art Study is an art and gift boutique known for warm customer service and a curated mix of goods. We’re looking for a part‑time Sales Associate who enjoys connecting with customers and also takes pride in accurate, detail‑driven administrative work.

This role is ideal for someone who likes balancing customer interaction with computer‑based tasks such as basic purchase order entry, simple website updates, and light data handling in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive customer service during closing shifts
• Build positive customer relationships by offering product guidance and thoughtful assistance
• Maintain a tidy, welcoming sales floor and restock products as needed
• Perform basic purchase order entry with accuracy and consistency
• Upload product photos to the website and link items to the POS
• Use Excel for simple data entry, tracking, and organizing product information
• Assist in receiving new products (unpacking, organizing, preparing for display)
• Support closing duties: light cleaning, restocking, and register count‑down

Requirements

• Retail sales experience required
• Enjoys administrative tasks, data entry, and working in Excel
• Comfortable with computers and following established procedures
• Strong customer service skills and a warm, approachable demeanor
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently

Schedule: Part‑time, closing shifts (until-8:15pm) and one weekend day required.

Pay: $21.30 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 24.0 per week
