Schedule: Sunday shifts required (approximately 6-8 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours during holidays, vacations, and our busy summer season).

About the Role

This is an entry-level position designed for someone who enjoys working with food, likes being part of a team, and wants to learn the basics of bakery production. A significant part of this role involves helping keep the bakery running smoothly by washing dishes, baking equipment, and work tools, while also assisting bakers with production, packaging, and merchandising. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional bakery and learn new skills.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist bakers with daily bakery production
• Package, wrap, and label baked goods
• Stock and merchandise bakery displays and cases
• Wash dishes, baking pans, utensils, and production equipment throughout the shift
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bakery environment
• Learn basic baking techniques and recipes
• Help prepare cookies, muffins, scones, quick breads, and other baked goods
• Assist with decorating and finishing products as skills develop
• Receive and put away deliveries
• Monitor product quality and freshness
• Support opening and closing procedures
• Provide friendly service to customers and fellow team members

What We're Looking For

Physical Requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, team members must be able to:

• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Walk throughout the store and bakery areas
• Reach, bend, twist, and stoop frequently
• Safely work around commercial kitchen equipment
