Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic PTA/Bodyworker to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists and healthcare professionals with patient treatments, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises
• Provide hands-on bodywork techniques to promote relaxation, pain relief, and improved mobility
• Support patient care activities by preparing treatment areas and ensuring patient comfort throughout sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and patient responses in accordance with medical protocols
• Follow infection control procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
• Communicate clearly with patients about procedures, expectations, and post-treatment care instructions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

Qualifications

• Prior hospital experience or clinical exposure is highly preferred
• Experience working in acute care settings is a strong advantage
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care with compassionate communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapy and healthcare environments
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
• Certification or licensing as a PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) or equivalent bodyworker qualification is required or pending certification status acceptable for application

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
