New Northcote Brewhouse in Burwood East in looking for a part time or full time chef to join the team.

We're currently looking for passionate and motivated Cooks/Chefs to join our kitchen team on a part-time or full time basis

The Role

We’re seeking a skilled and driven Chef with strong technical cooking skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes including grills, pizzas, burgers, share plates, and seasonal specials

• Run key kitchen sections such as grill, fryers, pizza section

• Maintain high standards in food hygiene, presentation, and portion control

• Manage stock levels including ordering, receiving, rotation, and stocktakes

• Supervise and support junior kitchen staff

• Ensure compliance with OH&S and food safety standards

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in a busy commercial kitchen
• Strong skills across grill, fryer, and pizza sections
• Experience managing kitchen operations and supervising staff
• Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
