About the role

We are looking for a reliable person to work in a busy pub kitchen.

The role will involve preparing and cooking food, preparing ingredients, serving orders, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, and following food hygiene procedures.

You will be working alone for most of your shifts, so you must be comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the kitchen during service.

Duties

Preparing and cooking food

Preparing ingredients

Serving food orders

Keeping the kitchen clean and organised

Following food safety and hygiene procedures

Checking and managing stock

Preparing the kitchen for service

Cleaning down at the end of service

Working with the pub team when required

Requirements

Reliable and punctual

Good work ethic

Able to work independently

Comfortable working alone for most of the shift

Able to work at a reasonable pace during busy periods

Weekend availability is essential

Pay and hours

Pay is £12.71 per hour minimum, with up to £14.00 per hour available depending on experience and suitability.

Weekend work will be required, with the possibility of additional hours.

Immediate start available.
