Pub style cook for newly refurbished required

Duties

• Prepare and cook a wide range of pub dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and sides, following established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is cooked to perfection, presented attractively, and served promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supply needs.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate meal preparation times and ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Support meal prep activities during busy periods, helping to meet high demand without compromising quality.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or pub setting.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety standards.
• Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail in presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques across various cuisines is a plus.
• Prior experience serving or working in a hospitality environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
