Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of pub-style meals, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Follow recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency across all dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
• Collaborate with serving staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and customer satisfaction
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines during food preparation and service
• Meal preparation during busy hours, helping to manage multiple orders efficiently

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a pub setting
• Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety standards
• Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail and presentation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with serving staff
• Previous restaurant experience, including serving or customer interaction, is a plus

Pay: £12.71 per hour
