Magic Dragon Brewery Tap is the tap pub for Magic Dragon Brewing. The Pub opened in 2019 and has won a number of CAMRA awards, is in the Good Beer Guide and has the Cask Marque certification. The pub is wet lead and so no food experience is required.

Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Pub Manager to lead our lively pub environment. This role is perfect for someone passionate about cask ale, good customer service and team leadership. As a Pub Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a great customer experiences, and manage staff to uphold our standards of quality and safety. The job will include a bonus scheme tied to meeting targets each month.

Duties

• Supervise all aspects of pub operations, stock ordering, bartending, serving, and overall customer service.
• Lead and motivate a team of staff members to deliver a welcoming pub environment
• Manage the cellar, stock rotation, cask and keg management.
• Coordinate staff schedules and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment.
• Maintain inventory levels for cask and keg and supplies; order stock as needed to meet demand.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all areas within the pub, adhering to safety standards and best practices in hospitality.
• Organise music and events for the pub

Experience

• At least 2 years supervising experience in a pub/bar.
• Knowledge of cask ale, cellar management and passion for good quality beer
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on motivating staff and good customer service.
• experience of booking bands, putting on live music and organising events would be beneficial

This job would be ideal for someone wanting to move into management.

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
