As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for a Pub Supervisor to join the opening team of our exciting new pub.

About The Role As Pub Supervisor , you will support the day-to-day operation of our new pub, helping to create a warm, lively and polished experience for every guest. You will lead by example on the floor, support the team throughout each service and ensure our standards of hospitality, presentation and efficiency are consistently delivered.

This is an exciting opportunity to play an important part in launching a new venue, shaping its service culture and creating a distinctive pub experience that combines genuine Irish hospitality with the exceptional standards of Adare Manor.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily pub operations and support the smooth running of each service.
• Lead, motivate and support the team on the floor, providing clear direction and hands-on assistance.
• Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome, attentive service and a memorable experience.
• Maintain excellent standards of food and beverage service, cleanliness, presentation and atmosphere.
• Support team training, briefings and ongoing development, helping colleagues build confidence and product knowledge.
• Monitor stock, assist with ordering and control wastage in line with operational procedures.
• Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally, escalating matters when appropriate.
• Ensure licensing, responsible service, cash-handling, health and safety, food safety and security procedures are followed.
• Work closely with management and colleagues across the resort to support a successful opening and seamless operation.

You'll Thrive In This Role If You Have

• Previous supervisory experience in a busy pub, bar, restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Good knowledge of beverage service, including beers, wines, spirits and cocktails.
• A calm, organised and solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining excellent operational standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays in line with the needs of the business.
