Public Area Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Public Area Maintenance: Clean, sanitize, and maintain high standards in all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and outdoor entryways.
• Guest Relations: Provide friendly, professional assistance to guests and respond promptly to inquiries or requests.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow hotel safety guidelines, chemical handling SOPs, and proper signage placement during cleaning.
• Operational & Deep Cleaning: Perform routine and scheduled deep cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet shampooing, floor polishing) while keeping tools and equipment well-maintained.
• Reporting & Collaboration: Report maintenance issues, hazards, and guest feedback to supervisors promptly, while supporting the broader housekeeping team when needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or public area cleaning experience (hospitality industry preferred).
• Hands-on experience operating floor polishers, carpet shampooers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers.
• Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety SOPs.
• Courteous, guest-oriented attitude with basic communication skills to assist guests and coordinate with supervisors.
• Willingness to work flexible shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
