About the role

Be responsible for cleaning assigned public areas in compliance with the hotel standard.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain the job assignment from Supervisors
• Clean, sweep, mop and vacuum stairways, in front of the hotel, main lobby, Front Office, outlets, offices, rest rooms and all public areas to ensure that the area is neat, tidy and presentable at all times
• Ensure that all furniture, equipment, fixtures and other resort properties in the public area are in good condition and free of defects and coordinate with engineer if any maintenance is required
• Clean restaurant area as assigned by Supervisors
• Maintain professional interactions with guests whenever required
• Act as public restroom attendant when required
• Handle housekeeping cleaning equipment with care as per the SOP
• Take ownership when receiving any comments from guest, follow up and report them to Supervisors
• Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationship with colleagues
• Be fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures

About you

• Diploma plus technical certificate or above in related field
• 2 years experience in similar position
• Good local and sound English Language skills
• Ability to read and write
• Positive approach to customer service
• Able to handle physically demanding workload
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language
• In possession of all faculties
• Pleasant physical appearance
• Strong resistance
