Public Area Daily Worker

About the role

We are seeking a Public Area Daily Worker to join the team at Chook and Roos Sports Bar in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of our public spaces. Your work will directly impact the guest experience and help us maintain the high standards our customers expect. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all visitors.

What you'll be doing

• Clean and maintain all public areas including dining spaces, restrooms, hallways, and entrance areas throughout the day
• Empty and replace rubbish bins and recycling containers regularly to maintain cleanliness
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in public areas to the highest standards
• Dust and clean furniture, surfaces, and fixtures in dining and recreational spaces
• Sanitise and clean restrooms, ensuring they remain hygienic and well-stocked with supplies
• Respond promptly to spills and accidents, ensuring immediate clean-up to maintain safety
• Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces when required
• Report any maintenance issues or damage to management promptly
• Work efficiently during peak service times to minimise disruption to guests
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or public area maintenance, preferably in a hospitality setting
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour throughout your shift
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by business needs
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures
• Basic understanding of health and hygiene standards in hospitality environments
• Fluency in English or Indonesian is desirable
