Public Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Public Attendant to join the housekeeping team at INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE. This is a full-time position based in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a Public Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene and overall appearance of public areas within our facility. Your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment for our guests and visitors, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, common areas and recreational spaces to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
• Empty and replace rubbish bins regularly, ensuring waste is disposed of appropriately and in compliance with environmental guidelines
• Sweep, mop and polish floors in public spaces, paying particular attention to high-traffic areas
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, surfaces and décor elements in public areas
• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, soaps and paper products in restrooms and public facilities
• Report maintenance issues, damage or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor immediately
• Respond promptly to guest or visitor requests for additional cleaning or assistance
• Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour whilst representing the organisation
• Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping and hospitality staff to ensure seamless service delivery

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a similar public-facing maintenance role within the hospitality or service industry
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the day
• Knowledge of appropriate cleaning products, techniques and safe handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules
• Positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and guest needs
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• A valid national identification document or proof of identity as required by local regulations
