Public Liaison Manager

Working hours: Monday to Friday (normal office hours)

Office location: Office of Drainage Services Department at Cheung Sha Wan

The Public Liaison Manager shall be a suitably qualified

person and shall

(i) have a university degree or equivalent;

(ii) be conversant with computer software of word processing in both Chinese

and English documents;

(iii) with 3 years relevant experience with preferably 1 year experience in

handling customer services, public enquiries and relation matters;

(iv) good command of both oral and written English and Chinese (including

Cantonese and Putonghua) having grade ‘C’ or above in both Chinese and

English (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education

Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent; and

(v) preferably have completed a post secondary certificate programme on

public relation.

Responsibilities:

The Public Liaison Manager shall handle complaints

and enquiries with the basic work-flow as follows:

(i) To communicate with complainants by telephone or meeting;

(ii) To gather relevant information from various sources related to the

complaint;

(iii) To tackle complaint under endorsement of the Service Manager’s Delegate

and reply the complainant by e-mail, telephone or draft written reply;

(iv) To monitor and follow-up the complaints and report to the Service

Manager’s Delegate of the handling progress.

(v) To prepare statistics and reports on complaints as instructed by the Service Manager’s Delegate.
