PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER (WFH)

The Discover Group of Travel Services Inc. is looking for Public Relations Officer will be responsible for managing and protecting the company’s public image, particularly across digital and social media platforms. The role involves handling public inquiries and negative feedback, developing appropriate responses to sensitive situations, and ensuring that all external communications remain professional, accurate, and aligned with the company’s brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the company’s online reputation and public image.
• Monitor social media, reviews, comments, and public mentions.
• Handle complaints, negative feedback, and sensitive PR concerns.
• Draft professional responses, statements, and announcements.
• Coordinate with management during PR or reputation-related issues.
• Support PR campaigns and brand-building initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Social Media teams.
• Monitor public sentiment and relevant industry trends.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• Experience in PR, Communications, Marketing, Social Media, or Customer Relations is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
• Knowledge of social media and online reputation management.
• Confident, professional, creative, and calm under pressure.
• Able to work independently in a WFH/project-based setup.
• Reliable internet connection and proper WFH equipment.
• Travel, tourism, or hospitality experience is an advantage.
