Public Relations Coordinator

Public relations officers in health care settings are responsible for maintaining the desired image of a health care facility in the public eye. As such, they must be knowledgeable about the internal workings of the facility and must also be aware of its strategic objectives. Having good people skills and strong interpersonal communication skills are also paramount to being successful in this type of role.

As a public relations officer in the health care industry you have an exceptional opportunity to use your persuasive skills to effect change in people’s lives. In addition to your customary public relations duties you will devise strategies designed to exact behavior change from individuals leading to healthier lifestyles and in our case increasing awareness of preventative eye care.You will typically expand your relationship-building efforts to include individuals and organizations that influence others

Pay: $31,000.00-$51,000.00 per year
