Public Relations Manager

Midas PR Group, a multi-award-winning integrated communications agency based in Bangkok, is looking for an experienced Public Relations Manager to lead media strategy and execution, maintain high editorial standards and support the development of a growing PR team across multiple industries.

About the Role

As a PR Manager, you will lead media relations and PR activities across multiple client accounts. Working closely with Account Managers and senior strategists, you will translate communications strategies into strong stories, content and media opportunities that achieve meaningful results.

You will own PR delivery, provide clients with expert guidance on media relations and positioning, and mentor junior team members to strengthen the quality and consistency of their work.

This role suits a strategic, commercially aware PR professional with excellent editorial judgement, strong media relationships, and the confidence to lead both people and campaigns.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and lead media relations strategies across Thai and international media
• Identify strong story angles and translate client objectives into compelling PR narratives
• Oversee Thai- and English-language content, including press releases, interviews, bylined articles, briefing documents and media pitches
• Lead media outreach and ensure campaigns deliver against agreed coverage KPIs
• Monitor campaign performance, address delivery challenges and recommend opportunities to improve results
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with journalists and priority media
• Manage media events, interviews and briefings, ensuring effective preparation and smooth execution
• Advise clients on media positioning, story development and spokesperson preparation
• Brief, mentor and manage junior PR team members, supporting their performance and professional development
• Contribute to new business proposals and pitches, including PR strategy, media recommendations, presentation development and client-facing participation

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years’ experience in public relations or corporate communications
• Strong agency experience in a client-facing role
• Deep knowledge of the Thai media landscape, with established relationships across leading media
• Strong editorial judgement and the ability to identify and develop compelling stories
• Experience leading teams, managing workloads and maintaining quality across multiple accounts
• A strategic, proactive and solutions-oriented approach
• Confidence presenting to senior clients and providing clear, credible guidance
• International media experience is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent professional Thai and English verbal and written communication skills
• Must already have the legal right to work in Thailand without employer sponsorship
